As a Sales Engineer with CGTech, Mr. Ulrich provides manufacturing process improvement solutions to a wide variety of manufacturers in in the Northeast. His professional career began at Pratt & Whitney as a Manufacturing Engineer in 1986. Within his first year of employment, his expressed interest in CNC programming took hold, beginning his 28 year career in that field. Over his career, he took on more challenging and complex projects which included support of F119 engine for the F-22 Raptor, the F135 engine for the F-35 Lightning and several commercial engines for Boeing, Airbus, and the latest geared turbofan offerings to Mitsubishi and Bombardier. One of the last projects involved a robotic deburring and blending solution for the 1st stage compressor fan of the F135 engine. This project reduced the previously manual time from approximately 2 weeks to just a few days.
